Ibotac Biteo Designfloor is a patented, modular flooring system, developed for use in places like supermarkets, gyms, hotels, and the hospitality industry – anywhere where quick renovations are required. With our Biteo Designfloor, almost any construction project can be implemented during regular business operations, meaning no loss of revenue for the client.
Installation is carried out without gluing to the subfloor, allowing individual floor tiles to be replaced at any time. The patented interlocking system creates liquid-tight surfaces by simply applying joint compound in the connections between the tiles. These surfaces are extremely durable, even to the point of withstanding forklift traffic.
The fiberglass-reinforced backing structure makes it possible to lay large areas without expansion joints, or even over existing expansion joints in the subfloor. Since it is not necessary to glue Biteo Designfloor to the subfloor, this modular system is the solution for challenging subfloors such as ceramic tiles, oil and chemically contaminated concrete floors, or screeds with residual moisture. A 100% dismantling is possible. The easy processing ensures high area coverage. Additional benefits include ergonomics, foot warmth, and a 16 dB impact sound reduction.
