For the second time, the special display THE GREEN COLLECTION was all about sustainability, circular economy and environmental protection in the carpet and flooring industry, bringing the key theme FLOORED BY NATURE to life.

THE GREEN COLLECTION in hall 23 put a a spotlight on sustainable topics and companies in the carpet and flooring industry!
At DOMOTEX, the world's leading trade fair for carpets and floor coverings in Hannover, was celebrating outstanding developments in the field of sustainability. On the first day of the fair, 11 January 2024, ten companies were honoured with the GREEN COLLECTION Award.

Reto Aschwanden
Managing Director | Non-Profit-Organisation Label STEP
Reto Aschwanden is Managing Director of Label STEP, the international organization for fair trade in handmade carpets. He believes in fair trade as a grass roots instrument for social and economic development and admires the handmade rug industry for its creativity, history and cultural significance. Reto joined Label STEP in 2005 and regularly travels to Afghanistan, India, Iran, Nepal and Pakistan to meet personally with producers, workers and weavers.

Publisher/Owner | Floor Focus Magazin
Kemp is the publisher and owner of Floor Focus Magazine and FloorDaily.net—two of the leading and most trusted trade media brands in the Floor Covering business in North America. He also serves on the board of the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) and is on the advisory panel for several of the major flooring brands in the U.S.
Loredana Marvulli
Architect & Interior Designer
Loredana Marvulli is an Italian architect and interior designer, who has been working on residential, commercial and outdoor space projects with the aim of combining tradition and innovation through the use of new technologies and natural materials. After gaining experience in professional practice thanks to the numerous projects completed, she founded Mes Studio 327 in 2021 with the goal to follow every phase of the architectural process, from design to construction site.
She is a member of the Order of Architects P.P.C. of Bari since 2008. Since 2011, she has been a member of the A.I.D.I.A. association, the Italian Association of Women Engineers and Architects, and since 2023, she has held the position of Vice President of the Bari section.
