"Architektur im Dialog": Lavesstiftung at DOMOTEX
The renowned lecture series " Architektur im Dialog" by the Lower Saxony based Lavesstiftung will make a stop at DOMOTEX 2024. In her lecture "Making Spaces talk - Narrative Architecture", architect Shirin Frangoul-Brückner will give exclusive insights into the practices and projects of ATELIER BRÜCKNER on Friday at 5.30 p.m.
ince 2007, the Lavesstiftung has been promoting a constructive exchange in the field of architecture in the spirit of its guiding principle "Architecture is Culture". Under the patronage of the Lower Saxony's former Minister of Economic Affairs, Walter Hirche, the foundation links the Hanoverian tradition to the future of building in Lower Saxony with reference to the royal court architect Laves.
The Lavesstiftung understands itself as an institution with a social mission, believing: “Construction affects us all. Quality requires not only a close partnership between client and architect, there must also be a public debate about construction."
With its renowned series of discussions entitled "Architecture in Dialogue", the Lavesstiftung has been successfully meeting this challenge for years. In 2024, Deutsche Messe AG is supporting the Lavesstiftung as a partner for the fifth time.
In recent years, DOMOTEX, the world's leading trade fair for carpets and floor coverings, has teamed up with the Lavesstiftung to inspire the international audience of the fair with fascinating presentations from architects. These include Professor Eckhard Gerber (Gerber Architekten, Dortmund), Martin Murphy (Störmer Murphy Partners, Hamburg), Titus Bernhard (Titus Bernhard Architekten, Augsburg) and Much Untertrifaller (Dietrich Untertrifaller, Untertrifaller Architekten ZT GmbH).
In 2024, you can look forward to the German lecture "Making Spaces talk - Narrative Architecture" by Shirin Frangoul-Brückner followed by a panel discussion on 12 January at 5.30 p.m.
