CFL Flooring convinced the jury with Tenacity Eco-Composite Flooring, which uses a high percentage of recycled and natural materials present and therefore presents an attractive alternative to less sustainable, oil based products.

This category covers alternative, energy-saving and other sustainable production processes of the flooring industry and the corresponding products.
Reflects the active commitment against child and forced labor, and is intended to certify manufacturers who produce in an exemplary manner without exploiting their employees.

Reto Aschwanden is Managing Director of Label STEP, the international organization for fair trade in handmade carpets. He believes in fair trade as a grass roots instrument for social and economic development and admires the handmade rug industry for its creativity, history and cultural significance. Reto joined Label STEP in 2005 and regularly travels to Afghanistan, India, Iran, Nepal and Pakistan to meet personally with producers, workers and weavers.

Loredana Marvulli
Architect & Interior Designer
Loredana Marvulli is an Italian architect and interior designer, who has been working on residential, commercial and outdoor space projects with the aim of combining tradition and innovation through the use of new technologies and natural materials. After gaining experience in professional practice thanks to the numerous projects completed, she founded Mes Studio 327 in 2021 with the goal to follow every phase of the architectural process, from design to construction site.
She is a member of the Order of Architects P.P.C. of Bari since 2008. Since 2011, she has been a member of the A.I.D.I.A. association, the Italian Association of Women Engineers and Architects, and since 2023, she has held the position of Vice President of the Bari section.
