Talk Cord-Hinrich Grote
Cord-Hinrich Grote completed his studies in industrial design in Essen in 1996. He has worked at ATELIER BRÜCKNER as Art Director and Senior Project Manager since 2010 and as Associated Partner since 2019.
He has a profound knowledge of scenography and has more than 25 years of professional experience in the design and planning of large-scale exhibitions and media installations for international museums and brand centers. The excellent industrial designer focuses on the artistic direction of media installations in space. In addition, Cord-Hinrich Grote coordinates the entire design and planning process, from the initial idea and research to the perfect technical and spatial solution. His approach is aesthetic, conceptual and technical.
For Grote, the role of the scenographer is comparable to that of a film director: it is about developing a creative vision and coordinating all the planners involved in order to design a unique and holistic total work of art consisting of objects, architecture, graphics, media and light for a diverse audience.
Cord Grote's projects have won numerous international awards, including the IF Award, ADC, One Show and D&AD.
